KML Bearing USA Spherical Plain Bearings are self-aligning plain bearings. These bearings are designed for heavy loads where articulation or misalignment must be accommodated. The ball and outer ring are produced using vacuum degassed 52100 bearing steel. These components are heat treat hardened to produce a durable wear surface on the balls and ball tracks.
The KML Spherical Plain Bearing is capable of both a large radial load and thrust load in both directions. Due to its great resistance to impact loads, Spherical Plain Bearings are the bearing of choice for low speed, heavy load articulation applications. They are commonly found in cylinder hinge points & clevises and truck, agriculture & construction machinery suspension points.

- GEZxx(x)ES – Inch Size Industrial Grade Open Spherical Plain Bearings have no seals maximizing the outer ring bearing contact area. Can be relubricated via annular groove in both inner and outer rings.
- GEZxx(x)ES-2RS – Inch Size Industrial Grade Sealed Spherical Plain Bearings feature dual-lip contact seals on both sides for excluding debris. Can be relubricated via annular groove in both inner and outer rings.
Metric Series
- GExx(x)ES – Metric Size Industrial Grade Open Spherical Plain Bearings have no seals maximizing the outer ring bearing contact area. Can be relubricated via annular groove in both inner and outer rings.
