The RCSM-S insert bearing is made from 52100 series bearing steel with a rubber cushion on the outside diameter. The RCSM-S rubber cushion insert has all of the features of the CSB insert with the addition of a static conductive rubber cushion. This cushion helps to dampen vibration in critical applications where noise and vibration are transferred through the system. It also dissipates static charge that can be generated through ventilation systems. This style insert is commonly used in air handling applications or areas where vibration must be minimized.
The standard RCSM-S rubber cushion insert is a non-greaseable insert and is considered to be Lubed-for-Life.
